Old Dogs & New Tricks

My oh my how time flies!! It just doesnt seem over 2 weeks since my last post!
Although I am in the same company (a well known retailer), I have transferred to a brand new store which opens in a couple of weeks. I've had to learn some new job skills and realised old dogs can learn new tricks - it just takes a bit longer than the pups lol!!
Had no time for crafting (quelle horreur)! but training nearly complete so its back to normal soon. In the meantime here is one of my personal favourites that I made earlier!*!
Image is from Jems Designs cd rom Spellbound covered with an acetate overlay. Brown and gold swirly hunkydory card stock layered onto gold mirri card. Martha Stewart punches for the border. Big sizzix die for the swirls and my silhouette machine cut out the words for me.

Thank you for visiting and happy crafting!! xx

Wings of Time

This lovely birthday is something a bit different for me, but I loved the soft grey / green colours and hadn't done any decoupage for a while. Images are from the Jems Designs cd rom Whispering Wings. General matting and layering with glitter added to the butterfly wings and a few faux gems is all that I have done to this card.

Thanks for stopping by. xx

Midnight Passion

It's not often I make valentines cards and this card I think would be perfect for Anniversaries, Birthdays and yes, even valentines day lol!!! 8" x 8" with a piece removed down the side from the front. Image is from Jems Designs cd rom Clearly Bowed Midnight Gothic. The rose is  handmade from cold porcelain which I've had in my stash for an eternity!!

Thanks for stopping by. xx

Deep Obsidian

8" x 8" is my favourite size of card and I guess it shows lol so the next few I make will have to be different methinks!!! But for now, well today at any rate, 8 x 8 it is and this card is one of two that I made today. The images are from Jems Designs cd rom Fairy Finesse with duo backing paper from the same cd rom. Embellished with marabou feathers, hatpins etc from stash, it's quite a simple card but I quite like it.

Thank you for visiting xx
