My entry for the Cards Galore March Challenge

the challenge is - 'Clean & Simple'

This card is 8" x 8" and has been created by cutting the large ornate silver mirri card frame using my Silhouette machine. Spellbinders dies for the topper. The embellishments are white marabou feathers, black roses with faux pearl leaves, 'twizzly' silver stalks and a white organza bow. I think this card would be ideal as an anniversary or wedding card.
Thank you for looking xx

Back and raring to go!!

It's been a while since my last blog, but I have at last caught up with my commissions. The last order that I had was for a retirement card which is pictured below.
The customer wanted a card in cream and brown with gold 'touches' and I'm pleased to say she was delighted with the end result.
Martha Stewart border punches and spellbinders cutting dies were used to make this 8" x 8" card, embellished with bronze coloured metallic butterflies, faux diamante spray, pearly gold hatpins and marabou feathers with miniature roses and last of all a ruched ribbon with bow.

Thanks for stopping by. xx

So different to my 'norm' !!

I dont often make baby cards etc (unless it's comissioned of course), but I am trying to be a good crafter and use up all my bits and bobs!!
The image here was printed from MCS cd rom Faith, Hope & Charity (paper library), Martha Stewart border punch and one of my many spellbinder cutting dies. Card size is my favourite at the mo 8" x 8"

Thank you for visiting xx

Seeking my mojo!

It's been quite some time since I did some cardmaking just for the pleasure of it. I've had a few commissions with quite rigid specs so this card developed on it's own because I rarely plan anything lol!! But here is todays offering with the main image and backing papers from Jems Design cd rom Elegant Beauties. My mojo isn't what it was but I'm sure things will get better!!
This card I think would be lovely for either Anniversaries or Birthdays.

I hope you like it and thank you for visiting. xx

Old Dogs & New Tricks

My oh my how time flies!! It just doesnt seem over 2 weeks since my last post!
Although I am in the same company (a well known retailer), I have transferred to a brand new store which opens in a couple of weeks. I've had to learn some new job skills and realised old dogs can learn new tricks - it just takes a bit longer than the pups lol!!
Had no time for crafting (quelle horreur)! but training nearly complete so its back to normal soon. In the meantime here is one of my personal favourites that I made earlier!*!
Image is from Jems Designs cd rom Spellbound covered with an acetate overlay. Brown and gold swirly hunkydory card stock layered onto gold mirri card. Martha Stewart punches for the border. Big sizzix die for the swirls and my silhouette machine cut out the words for me.

Thank you for visiting and happy crafting!! xx
